Hello Anthony,

First off, I am enjoying reading your blogs - find them very informative. Been using C++ for over a decade, but only just recently doing serious threading (using boost).

It's not been an easy road so far picking up multi-threading, but I am learning (albeit slowly). One thing however I'd really love if you did cover in your blog is a clean example of how to use shared mutex/locks; something simple, illustrative of the paradigm would be a so very appreciated. If on the other hand you've already done something like this, pointing me a blog url would be great.

Thanks again for such an informative blog,

Cheers, -- Manfred
